New York: While two fellow officers move to his aid, a hatless policeman wrestles with a young Negro on West 125th Street in Manhattan's Harlem area early 4/5. The assassination, in Memphis, Tenn., late April 4th, of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., triggered a rash of window smashing, looting and fires in the heart of Harlem.
