Description
The United States is finally going to cash in on some of its garbage. The stuff is too valuable to waste. Here, worker at reclamation center in Dayville, Connecticut sifts bottles in '72 photo from files. The bottles will be crushed for use in "glassphalting" a parking area. the fine crushed glass takes place of gravel and stone mix usually found in asphalt.
