Description
From a small workbench in his home, Eskimo artist Lincoln Milligrock, 43, transforms tusks of walrus ivory into delicate bracelets depicting life in the Alaskan arctic. The tools Milligrock uses reflect the influence of his forebearers. Along with a variety of files, Milligrock uses an ancient Eskimo tool called an ivory bow drill to put holes through the base of each link.
