Description
New York: Dr. Harry Tabor (right), Israeli solar energy expert, chats with Paul R. Freeman, of the Government of Israel Trade Center in New York, at a meeting of 36 leading solar energy scientists and practitioners from the U.S. and abroad in New York January 21. In the background are photos of Tabor's solar energy project in Israel. Tabor was to describe a U.S.-Israeli effort to build a solar energy plant. The use of solar energy to heat and cool homes is much closer to reality than most people believe, the experts agreed at the meeting.
