Montgomery, Ala.: At the 20th anniversary of the 1955 bus boycott, three of the principals come down the steps of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church 12/5, led by Mrs. Coretta King (bottom), widow of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Mrs. Rosa Parks, who in 1955 refused to give up her seat on a local bus, that touched off a 361-day boycott, and Rev. Ralph Abernathy, who was one of the leaders of the boycott, and is now President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in Atlanta.
