Washington: President Ford chats with Roy Wilkins, executive director of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, as Ford prepared to address the 66th annual convention of the NAACP 7/1. The President told the black leaders the administration will not 'turn its back' on the concerns of the poor in its effort to halt the depression.
