Description

Mount Vernon, Ill.: Acting as pallbearers, members of the Black Panther Party carry the casket of George Jackson, one of the Soledad Brothers, from hearse at the Bethel Cemetary where Jackson was buried, here 8/29. Jackson, killed in a breakout attempt at San Quentin prison was flown to St. Louis and brought to Mount Vernon where his family has a plot.
