Description
Cambridge, MD.: A surging crowd of Negro demonstrators carries William Jackson on its shoulders early 7/12 after his release from jail. He had been arrested by State Police earlier for carrying a knife, and when the mob of Negroes moved toward the jail to secure his release, he was freed to prevent further trouble.
