Description

This lithographed tin taxi was manufactured by Louis Marx and Company in the 1930's. It is based on the popular comedy radio show, Amos 'n' Andy. The toy features a clockwork mechanism that can be activated with a key. The lopsided wheels give the car a comical movement that is fitting for the humorous nature of the radio show.
