Abstract
Asian American students studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in higher education in the United States are not as well studied in comparison to other minoritized groups. Our research examines how these students navigate through their STEM and university environments and how racism may impact that navigation. Preliminary results show differences in experiences when comparing first-generation Asian American students and adopted Asian American students to other Asian American students.
