Abstract

This paper provides an update on Fourier Analysis in Several Complex Variables. We begin with the fundamental works of Ehrenpreis and we describe how Fourier Analysis of solutions of systems of infinite order differential equations (and more generally convolution equations) can be applied to a variety of problems. Among these we discuss lacunary series, theta functions representations and the extensions of this analysis to regular functions of quaternionic variables. The paper ends with a section on open problems in the area.
