Submission Guidelines for Eric M. Scandrett Graduate Library Research Prize
There is a maximum of one application per student or group per year.
Applications must include the following pieces. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
- A 1,000-1,200 word essay describing your research strategies and use of library resources and services. Detailed instructions for the essay are included in the application packet. Both the essay requirements and the evaluation rubric that the judges will use are available on the website.
- A summary (max 1000 words) or a three-page excerpt of your paper/project.
- A complete works cited list, reference list, or bibliography in APA, MLA, Chicago, or other recognized style.
