Psi of California Chapter, Chapman University’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter, was established in 2018. Chapman University is now counted among an elite group of fewer than 300 colleges and universities in the United States – that is, among fewer than 10 percent of colleges and universities nationwide – that have been selected to shelter a chapter
The Installation and Induction Ceremony for the Psi of California Chapter was held on April 18, 2019. In this ceremony, the charter was received to formally establish the new chapter, and six Foundation Members and 22 outstanding students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. President Lynn Pasquerella and Secretary Frederick M. Lawrence of the national Phi Beta Kappa Society attended to preside over the installation ceremony, and Chapman University Presidential Fellow Jack Horner was the featured guest speaker.
