Abstract

Struppa's column focuses on the means behind creativity. He believes to introduce the student to a significant scientific challenge and how to make sense of the complexity and diversity of the elements limits creativity. The assignment mistakes superficial presentation skills for real creativity, ignoring that true creativity consists in finding unexpected ways to overcome an obstacle within very strict rules of engagement.
