Mathew J. Misiur Second World War correspondence

This collection contains 1 correspondence written by Mathew J. Misiur to his daughter Rosemarie on her birthday. This letter was written on November 2, 1944, during the Second World War. In the letter, Misiur talks about "Uncle Sam" and how much he loves and misses his family. Of interest is the way in which Misiur explains World War Two to his young child. He also talks about his leaving for war and how hard it was to say goodbye to his family.
