Description
Lee Deforest and Eric Berndt with antique camera, circa 1960. DeForest [1873-1961] was an American inventor with over 180 patents to his credit and named himself the “Father of Radio.” He filed the first patent on his sound-on-film process in 1919. [Including MPH-07 as B-048-02, another photo shot taken at the same time and mounted on a plaque.]
