Travel postcard photograph showing tourists on two elephants, with native people in India, early twentieth century. Written on verso: "One place we visited in India, the ... ruined and deserted city of Amber, the road was so steep, elephants only could go up it. So we had the novelty of riding on an elephant. The motion was distressing and I was glad when the journey was over. Can you find me in the picture?"
