Abstract
For millennia, human beings have looked upon the bewildering, seemingly endless expanse of the cosmos as an art canvas. Though we are part of this cosmic art, we do not understand it; thus, we turn to one of our greatest, innate human strengths: creativity. Employing tools from religion to mathematics, science has been our artistic endeavor to fill the gaps, a never-ending task of grasping the ungraspable cosmos with our minds. We are artists collectively working on the same masterpiece throughout history.
