Abstract

Popular anxiety about rising crime has buoyed the TV show “Crime Watch” in Trinidad and Tobago, in which charismatic host Ian Alleyne broadcasts crime footage, interviews accused killers, and encourages anonymous callers to report crimes. Prof. Zoellner interviews Alleyne while delving into the reasons for the show's--and host's--popularity.
