This is a 36 page Research Brief written by Joel Kotkin, Ali Modarres, and Wendell Cox. This project was the result of a great group effort. The authors want to acknowledge the leading role played by the leadership of Chapman University, notably President Daniele Struppa, the dean of Communications, Lisa Sparks, and the dean of the Argyros School of Business, Tom Turk. We also received support through the generous gift of Chapman Trustee and Orange business executive Roger Hobbs.
