Arab-Israeli Conflict 1969-1975
Tel Aviv, Israel: Shredded baggage and blood are all that remain after three Japanese gunmen opened fire with automatic rifles and hand grenades into a crowd of 250 to 300 persons at Lod International Airport here late 5/30 killing 24 persons and wounding 59 others. One of the Japanese committed suicide with a grenade. Another was captured and the third escaped into the night and became the target of a gigantic manhunt by Israeli troops.
