Photograph of touring Simon Lake submarine operation, with the caption “A lady passenger just emerging from the upper end of the access tube of the Argosy & Argonaut with part of her ‘catch,’ after a walk on the bottom of Long Island Sound.” The Argosy (mother ship) and the Argonaut III (submersible) were constructed at Bridgeport in 1919 by the Lake Argonaut Salvage Corporation.
