Description
Carl Gregory, builder of the special printer, looking at a display of motion picture equipment, ca. 1946. Gregory was Chief Technician in charge of the Library of Congress Restoration Project. He became the first person to successfully copy onto celluloid stock material from the Library of Congress Paper Print Collection. Stamped on verso: from the studio of Irving Browning Photography, N. Y. C.
