This poem, titled "Frenzers First Cruise," was written by Charles J. Frenzer during the First World War. Frezner was stationed at the U.S. Naval Air Station Queenstown, Ireland. In this poem, Frenzer writes about his various feelings about being shipped out to Queenstown, wanting to serve in the military, wanting to fight in the frontlines, and regretting joining the U.S. Navy.
