Description
USS Hancock, in the Gulf of Tonkin: Scores of bombs are lined up ready to be loaded onto fighter-bombers which will drop them during attack and support missions in South Vietnam and Laos. The aircraft carriers Hancock and the Kitty Hawk are cruising off the coast of Vietnam and their planes are involved in bombing runs 24 hours a day. Together, the two carriers have about 150 jets.
