Atlanta: As their eyes meet for the first time, Andrew Pope (L) reaches out to lovingly touch his new sister, Mary Claire. Mrs. Pope, of Calhoun, Ga., cradles the Vietnam orphan she and her husband Tom have adopted. Mary Claire is among the first 14 orphans to arrive in Atlanta 4/4 to be met by their adoptive parents in areas east of the Rocky Mountains.
