Abstract
This is Megan Kenney's submission for the 2017 Kevin and Tam Ross Undergraduate Research Prize, which won second place. She wrote about the patient activation (a measure of an individual’s knowledge, skill, and confidence in managing his or her own health and health care) among diverse populations. Megan is a senior at Chapman University, majoring in Kinesiology. Her faculty mentor is Dr. Elizabeth DeBaets.
