Abstract

President Doti discusses the various bronze busts around the campus of Chapman University, in particular the large one of Albert Schweitzer. He also relates why Schweitzer's life as a doctor, humanitarian, ethicist, philosopher, theologian, musician, and Nobel Laureate make him the "guiding spirit" for Chapman University.
