Summary

This collection contains 82 letters written by Varnie and Robert Lindstadt, US Army, during the First World War. They write to family back home, specifically to their sister, Clara, a third brother, Elmer, and to their mother, Sophia. They both served overseas. Also included in the collection are letters by several other soldiers writing to members of the Lindstadt family. Some of the authors in this collection are connected with some of the authors in ACC# 2014.032.w "Dorothy Hornberger First World War Correspondence" Some of them were possibly friends.
