Interior view of Mutograph Camera. It was “Designed & built by Marvin & Cassler [Henry Marvin and Herman Cassler], Canastota, New York” ca. 1897. To avoid infringing on Edison’s patents, the Mutograph was designed to perforate 70 mm film in the camera while filming.
