Gear train which controls the panning movement of the Akeley Camera. One of 84 photos printed for the Akeley Camera Company, 244-250 W. 49th St., New York, circa 1919. A highly mobile motion picture camera for capturing wildlife, invented by Carl Ethan Akeley (1864-1926) and manufactured by his company. Original print with notes on verso by Carl Louis Gregory.
