Anya Nguyenkhoa graduated from Chapman University in the spring of 2025 Sith her Bachelor of Arts in History. During her time at Chapman, she has gained experience as a historical researcher under the mentorship of Dr. Vivian Yan-Gonzalez and through her own independent projects as part of the inaugural cohort of student researchers under the Wilkinson Interterm Research Experience. She has presented her research at Chapman University's annual Student Symposium and at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On campus, she has been involved in Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Co-Ed Fraternity and Chapman University's Alpha Mu Gamma chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, which she served as vice president during her senior year. Ms. Nguyenkhoa has also received the Lee Estes Best Conference Paper Award and the Outstanding Campus Leader Award her senior year. Following graduation, Ms. Nguyenkhoa will be interning in the fall at the Library of Congress with plans to further her research and education in history, specifically Asian American history and queer history.
