Stuart William Ledbetter graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a themed inquiry in Design and History Fundamentals in Cinematography from Chapman University in May 2025. Alongside his degree, he was also awarded Departmental Honors and the History Award for Academic Excellence from Wilkinson College’s Department of History. To this day, Mr. Ledbetter’s name hangs on a plaque in Roosevelt Hall at Chapman University to honor the latter achievement. While at Chapman, he served as a volunteer editor for Voces Novae. Though he was never officially a member, Mr. Ledbetter attended the club meetings for Chapman’s Alpha Mu Gamma chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, where he had strong connections to the members of the leadership board. Aside from historical studies, Mr. Ledbetter’s interests lie in vexillology (the study of flags). He has served as a member of the North American Vexillological Association since 2019 and has regularly attended the annual conferences. He hopes to one day have a career working in a museum, an archive, or a prestigious research library.
