Description

Boston: Doctor Ralph Abernathy (2nd from left) head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference; comedian Dick Gregory (C) and State Sen. William Owens (R), lead several thousand marchers in a march in against racism, 12/24. There was one skirmish between demonstrators and police when the marchers tried to break through a police barracade on Boston's Boylston St. which had been part of the parade route prior to march.
