My church asked me to come up with a simplified timeline placing the books of the Bible on it and showing when what they record was primarily happening. It was designed as a single handout, but could also be cut into thirds to be used as bookmarks within a physical Bible, they could also be sent electronically to be saved onto phones or other devices to be used digitally. Finally they can be place together giving the complete overview. One of the things I like most about being a designer and illustrator is being able to help people see things, maybe in ways they never have before. I like helping folks understand complex or confusing times, ideas, and movements. Taking this collection of books that were written over 1600 years by 40 different human authors and placing them so that they can be seen in time and how they relate to one another was a labor of love.
